Worcester State recent graduate Andrew O’Connor and senior communication major Matt Collamer will have their film “The Death and Rebirth of Baseball in Worcester” featured on NESN on Monday, April 27, at 10 p.m.
Their film is in the finals of the NESN Next producer contest. To vote now, go here, where you can also view the video, which documents the fall of the semi-pro baseball team, the Worcester Tornadoes, and the rise of the new team that began competing last year, the Worcester Bravehearts.
The contest is designed to give New England college students the chance to have a film they create featured on NESN and the chance to compete for a prize based on the film’s quality. Finalists’ work is currently being featured on NESN, airing after Red Sox Monday baseball games, and repeating throughout the week. The winner will be given a job opportunity at NESN.
