Each year, Enactus members from all over the United States come together to compete in a national competition, where they showcase their projects and compete to represent the United States at the Enactus World Cup. In order to reach this competition, each team must earn their invitation to nationals by winning at regionals. After working hard the past year creating new projects and continuing legacy projects, Worcester State Enactus recently presented in front of 15 business executives and secured an invitation to nationals by becoming regional champions.
Of the 40-plus members in Enactus, five were selected to be on the presentation team: Monica Bhakhri, Raphael Nunez, Amber Suarez, Jemini Patel, and Tyler Nims. The team practiced approximately 10 hours a week to ensure that they were competing at the highest possible level.
The presentation highlighted five projects: Reyes House Access to Health Care, Café Reyes Marketing and Operations, ESL Financial Literacy, Trew Friends Expansion, and The On Guard Initiative.
Worcester State Enactus will travel to St. Louis, Missouri, for Nationals in May!
