The Empty Bowls Fundraiser is a two-day campaign to raise awareness about food insecurity. The annual fundraiser benefits Thea’s Pantry on the Worcester State University campus as well as the Chandler Magnet Food Pantry.
Join us as we recognize National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week by donating to the Empty Bowls Fundraiser to support our students. We ask that you consider donating your lunch money on both days of the event. Here are some amounts you can consider when making your donation:
$15- Provides ONE DAY of Lunch Money
$30- Provides TWO DAYS of Lunch Money
$75- Provides ONE WEEK of Lunch Money

Are you close to campus? Please consider joining us for our in-person Soup Lunch event from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Blue Lounge & Exhibit Area of the Student Center. Buy a bowl of soup to help feed our community. The cost for the Soup Lunch and two raffle tickets is students $5, and faculty, staff and general public, $10. Soup Lunch includes soup, Panera bread, dessert, and coffee.
