Timothy Cook (Earth, Environment, and Physics) co-authored a paper published in the journal Earth Surface Processes and Landforms. The article, “Unprecedented erosion from Tropical Storm Irene due to high antecedent precipitation,” examines the risk for catastrophic erosion in New England under changing climatic conditions. The work was partially supported by a WSU Faculty Mini-Grant.
Cook also recorded a segment about the research for the NPR program the Academic Minute.
