Criminal Justice Club, Field Hockey lead the way in Chandler’s Challenge

More than $54,000 was raised for student athletic teams and organizations during the fifth annual Chandlers Challenge. In the top spots were the field hockey team in the athletic bracket and the Criminal Justice Club in the campus bracket.

The field hockey team took first place in the Athletics bracket.

Thirty-three student groups participated in the Feb. 6-7 competition that drew more than 1,200 donors. The athletic bracket earned $31,350.00 in donations, and the campus bracket earned $23,393.00. All of the dollars raised go directly to the student organizations to support travel, equipment and special projects.
