Criminal Justice Faculty Present at ACJS Meeting

A number of criminal justice faculty members presented at the 2016 Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado, on March 29 through April 2.

Aimee Delaney participated in a roundtable discussion on on Difficulties in Victimization Research: Barriers and Solutions moderated by Lisa Growette Bostaph of Boise State University. She was joined by Laura King of Boise State University, Veronyka James of Virginia Union University, Steven Dyer of Thomas College, and Sadie Mummert of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Delaney also was elected and inducted as the Region 1 Trustee.

John Tahiliani presented his research titled Surf, Sand and Strangers: A Comparative Study of Order Maintenance in Small Town Resorts.

Hye-sun Kim presented research she is conducting with WSU colleagues Stephen Morreale and Robert Brooks. The presentation was entitled Cybercrime Vicitimization Among College Students based on a pilot study of WSU criminal justice students.
