Daron C. Barnard (Biology), with Isaac Appiah, Michelle M. Giddens and the Molecular Biology class of 2009 have recently had a paper published [1] in the journal G3: Genes|Genomes|Genetics as part of their Genomics Education Partnership.
Appiah’s work on this project was part of his Aisiku Summer fellowship [2].
