Allison Dunn (Earth, Environment, and Physics) attended the Association of American Geographers Annual Meeting in Tampa, Fla., from April 8-11.
Dunn presented a paper titled “Carbon dynamics following land-use change across an urbanization gradient.” Her coauthors included colleagues from Boston University and two WSU undergraduates, Nicole Volk ’14 and Ronald Salmonson ’14, both geography majors.
They participated in a large-scale field study in Massachusetts during summer 2013 and helped generate the data presented in the paper. This work is part of a larger NASA-funded grant.
