Get ready for Chandler’s Challenge 2022

Team registration has opened [1] for the 2022 Chandler’s Challenge, the University’s annual student-led crowdfunding tournament to raise money for sports teams, arts programs and clubs.

Inspired by NCAA March Madness, teams are divided into two brackets – athletics and campus – and they compete in a playoff structure for 48 hours to see who will get the highest number of donors. To compete, teams must submit the online registration form by Friday, March 4. Over the next few weeks leading up the tournament, teams are encouraged to get the word out about their participation and submit the marketing materials listed on the registration form.

“We are excited to see what teams come ready to compete in this year’s Chandler’s Challenge,” said Caitlyn Costello ’13, the assistant director of Development for University Advancement. “It is a really fun event that has the potential to raise a lot of money for our students.”

This year’s tournament will run from April 4 to 5. The entire campus community is invited to participate in the fun two-day event to support student activities outside the classroom. All of the dollars contributed go directly to the student organizations.

Each bracket awards a variety of prizes:
