Appearing in partnership with the Museum of Worcester, the Emmy-winning CBS correspondent Mo Rocca is set to speak at Worcester State University on December 3.
Rocca is famous for his humorous yet poignant storytelling, which touches on everything from presidential history to inventors past and present. Fittingly, the event will feature Rocca sharing “stories that matter” on an array of topics, including history and innovation. He will be joined by a Worcester State faculty member, as well as representatives from the Museum of Worcester and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The conversation will be followed by a book signing.
In addition to his work with CBS Sunday Morning, Rocca hosts the “Mobituaries” podcast, in which he explores the lives of his “favorite dearly departed people and things.” A New York Times bestselling author, his books include the podcast spinoff “Mobituaries: Great Lives Worth Reliving,” and “Roctogenarians: Late in Life Debuts, Comebacks and Triumphs.” He got his start on television as a correspondent on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.”
Hosted in partnership with the Museum of Worcester, the event and book signing – titled “A Conversation with Mo Rocca – Sharing Stories that Matter” – is free and open to the public in the Sullivan Auditorium at 6 p.m.
Registration is required. Visit the event page for more information, and to secure your spot today.
