A more detailed plan describing how Worcester State will welcome back students this fall was recently released and is now posted to the Safe Return 2020 website . In addition to providing specifics on what safety precautions are being planned to protect the health of the entire Worcester State community, the report addresses the mechanism of blended academic programs, and lays out how the University will respond to changes in public health guidance as the pandemic progresses.
“We recognize that the key to being successful in this regard rests primarily on the shoulders of our excellent and dedicated faculty–all of whom have spent tremendous effort preparing for the various instructional modalities this plan outlines and that we, as a university, must embrace in light of the pandemic’s impact on us and society,” according to the preface to the report, which also summarizes the work of the more than 140 faculty and staff on the Safe Return subgroups.
This report will be updated and refreshed as developments dictate. Check back to the website periodically to see additions, amendments, and corrections.
