The Resident Assistant position is among the hardest and most rewarding leadership positions on campus. Each RA is responsible for the safety, security, social/emotional well-being of the students living on campus at Worcester State University, as well as being a source for information on educational opportunities. They make sure that each resident has the opportunity to live their most fulfilling WSU experience so they can succeed personally and academically.
The pandemic has made this demanding job even more challenging. The Resident Assistants are on campus every day, looking out for others while working to make their own educational dreams a reality.
Residence Life would like to show the RAs how much they are appreciated by offering a Resident Assistant of the Year Award each spring, which will include a financial award.
