Maureen Power (Urban Studies) was invited to present at the Inaugural “Age-Friendly Universities” conference at Dublin City University. Power’s talk, “Worcester State University’s Intergenerational Plunge; Impact on the Campus and the Community,” posited that while many European universities have programs for elders, WSU’s Intergenerational Urban Institute is unique in the way it offers free tuition for elders and channels the energies of college students of all ages in service to the community.
