Fourteen Worcester State University students hit the road with Assistant Professor of World Languages Antonio Guijarro-Donadiós, Ph.D., on Friday, March 17 to visit The Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Art Gallery at the College of the Holy Cross, where the work of 10 Latin American artists were presented in the exhibit “Last Frontier: The Subjectivity of Territory.”
After the welcome and introduction by Dr. Daniel Frost, chair of Holy Cross’ Spanish Department, Nicolás Koralsky, curator of the exhibit, guided and explained every piece deeply and in an eye-opening way.
Students were very impressed by the multimedia art Koralsky showed them.
“Understanding art is not about defining it, but having a sensitivity and being permeable to it,” he said.
