Worcester State University recently held a graduation ceremony for Spectrum Health Systems employees who successfully completed the Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Counseling program. Spectrum and WSU recently partnered to run this program, and this year marks its first graduating class.
Dr. Roberta Kyle, and Dr. Linda Larrivee, dean of the School of Education, Health, and Natural Sciences, spoke at the ceremony, and Dr. Larrivee presented a Certificate of Completion to each graduate. Chuck Faris, president and CEO of Spectrum, also spoke, praising both the partnership and the employees.
This year’s graduates are Linda Bofah, Eryn Burdett, Debra Howard, Ann Lashua, Joel LeBlanc, Jaime O’Neil, Billy Parks, and Thomas Ralls.
The program is managed by the Department of Graduate and Continuing Education under the direction of Next Step Coordinator Amy Ebbeson. Going forward, WSU’s partnership with Spectrum for training will be managed by WSU’s Center for Business and Industry.
