Worcester State University was well-represented at the Massachusetts Council for International Education conference on November 15 with five presenters/facilitators.
Susan Seibel, director of the Intensive English Language Institute, facilitated a panel discussion, “Former ESL Students Speak about the Advantages of Intensive English Programs,” that included two former IELI students: Ekaterina Abuzyarova, a current WSU graduate student, and Diego Rodriguez Mendes Alves, a current undergraduate student.
Telese Forbes, graduate admissions advisor, presented a workshop at the conference titled “International Education as a Career.”
Graduate office assistant Lu (Diana) Chen was part of a panel called “Opened World: How My International Experience Shaped My Future.”
