Worcester State Welcomes Becker College Transfer Students

Worcester State is reaching out to Becker College students to offer them ways to continue their studies, after Becker announced on Monday, March 29, that it was closing at the end of the Spring 2021 semester. An agreement will allow students in good standing currently enrolled in certain Becker academic programs to transfer to corresponding academic programs at Worcester State.

In addition to generous transfer of credits and enhanced academic advising, application fees are waived through May 1, and housing is guaranteed for up to four years.

A special invitation has been made to students enrolled in biology, business administration, computer science, criminal justice, education, health science, liberal studies, management, marketing, and psychology, as well as students who have not declared a major. Students in Becker’s nursing program (pre-licensure and RN to BSN) will also be welcomed. In addition, Worcester State will be adding women’s ice hockey as its 21st varsity athletic team, led by Becker College coach Eliza Kelley. [Read story here. [1]]
