Worcester State University received a certificate of appreciation for hosting the annual New England Organization for Human Services Conference on Friday, April 29. The conference attracted nearly 100 faculty, practitioners, and students from around New England, including 22 current WSU students and two alumni.
Christopher Salem, life coach and author, delivered an inspiring keynote about the multiple dimensions of health. Two Worcester State students, Sean Smith (Psychology) and Thomas Lambert (Sociology), were elected as student representatives to the board of directors. Re-elected for a second term, Lambert played a key role in organizing the event.
