Ruth Mori, BS, RN, a student in the Master of Science in Nursing program (Community/Public health Clinical Specialty track), was honored as a Fellow of the Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts at the annual meeting of the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses in April.
Fellows of the Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts are selected for their demonstrated mastery of public health practice concepts, commitment to professional development, and willingness to act as stewards for public health practice in the state. They have shown immense commitment and dedication to their own professional development as well as to the public health mission.
All fellows must have worked for at least five years for a state or local public health agency in Massachusetts as a staff or governing body member.
