Worcester State University week is live as of Aug. 9 on The Academic Minute, a public radio show featuring prominent, new research happening across the globe.
The Academic Minute is a two-and-a-half minute daily module which features researchers from colleges and universities around the world, The show is hosted by Dr. Lynn Pasquerella, President of the Association of American Colleges and Universities.
Worcester State’s weeks’ worth of segments features faculty from both schools: Maura Pavao, Ph.D., (Biology); Ian Stephens, Ph.D., (DEEP); Alessandra Bazo Vienrich, Ph.D., (Sociology); Bryant Sculos, Ph.D, (Political Science); and Kathryn Frazier, Ph.D., (Psychology).
The program airs on 70 stations around the United States and Canada. You can hear the show on their home station, WAMC Northeast Public Radio, each weekday at 7:30 a.m. and 3:56 p.m. All segments will be made available on the Academic Minute webpage as well.
