Library Director Matt Bejune was recently elected to the board of directors of the Worcester Public Library by the City Council. His term is for six years, beginning January 1, 2016.
Bejune was appointed by the Council to serve out an unexpired term of a member who vacated the position in 2014. He was unanimously elected to the full term, and was one of only two members chosen from a field of six candidates.
