Lisa Krissoff Boehm (Humanities and Social Sciences) gave an invited talk at the Seminar on the City dinner and discussion held in the Faculty House at Columbia University on May 1.
Boehm’s talk, “Marching in the Rain: African American Women Workers in Detroit During World War II,” drew from her current research.
Boehm also published a book review in the April 2012 edition of the American Historical Review of Luther Adams’ book, Way Up North in Louisville: African American Migration in the Urban South, 1930-1970.
