Steven H. Corey (Urban Studies) has just received the 2011 William Gilbert Award for the Best Article on Teaching History from the American Historical Association (AHA) for “Pedagogy and Place: Merging Urban and Environmental History with Active Learning,” Journal of Urban History(January 2010).
This article was part of the first edition of the Journal of Urban History specifically dedicated to best teaching practices.
