By: Worcester State University News

Allison Dunn (Physical and Earth Science) attended NOAA’s Global Monitoring Annual Conference from May 15-17 and presented her paper “Hourly, Daily, and Seasonal Patterns of Atmospheric CO2 Along an Urbanization Gradient,” which integrated atmospheric data from the roof of the Ghosh Science and Technology Center with observations from Boston and Petersham.

NOAA’s Global Monitoring Division conducts sustained observations and research related to global distributions, trends, sources, and sinks of atmospheric constituents that are capable of forcing change in the climate of the earth. Its research advances climate projections and provides scientific policy-relevant, decision-support information to enhance society’s ability to plan and respond.
