Faculty and CHIP Interns Attend American Society for Microbiology Meeting

Roger Greenwell and Ellen Fynan (Biology) and their WSU-CHIP interns, Danielle Bavoux (Nursing) and Briana Vazquez (Health Sciences) attended the 50th Annual Region I Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology on October 20th and 21st. Danielle and Briana presented a poster on their WSU-CHIP project entitled “Student Engagement in Community Health Outreach Program on College Campuses and in the State of Massachusetts”. Dr. Fynan presented a poster on public health history entitled “Historical Perspective on the Treatment of Sexually Transmitted Diseases in 1920″.
