Julie Frechette (Communication) gave two presentations at the Action in Media Education Spring 2016 Summit in April. One was part of a roundtable entitled “Social Justice Pedagogy in a Digital Age: The Global Critical Media Literacy Project.” She also led a panel with contributors to her book, “Media Education for a Digital Generation,” which included Daniel Hunt (Communication).
Prior to the summit, Frechette presented two talks at the Action in Media Education media literacy training day held at Sacred Heart University. Her presentations were “Top 10 Guiding Questions for Critical Digital Literacy” and “Evaluating and Integrating Social Media.”
