Greenwell Completes Science Teaching Fellows Program

Roger Greenwell (Biology) was part of the third cohort to complete the American Society for Microbiology’s Science Teaching Fellows Program.

This competitive, professional development initiative was designed to prepare doctoral-trained microbiologists for science teaching at non-doctoral institutions.

The program focused on concepts and best practices in teaching science to undergraduate students, course design and assessment, student-centered, active, and engaged learning, and students as research collaborators.
