Patrick Hare (President’s Office) was one of 28 graduates of the second annual Leadership Worcester program, sponsored by the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation. The program’s class of 2017 was recently honored at the Worcester Art Museum.

“Worcester is rapidly evolving, and the growth of the students of this program will contribute to the economic and social growth of the city,” he said.

“This class was as strong as the first,” said Christina Andreoli, president of Discover Central Massachusetts, “and I expect we will continue to see great things from these participants.”

Leadership Worcester offers training and skill development to participants, connecting them with key players and creating a network of thinkers and doers who can move the region and each other forward. The program, which runs from September through May, engages a new generation of leaders on critical public policy issues, including economic development, education, public health, culture, public safety, and sustainability.
