Kazarian Named WSU’s Chief Student Affairs Officer

Julie Kazarian has been promoted to dean of student affairs and senior student affairs officer at Worcester State University.

She is responsible for running the Student Affairs Division, which she intends to use to help students cope with real-life problems that relate to their futures and careers.

Kazarian began her various roles at WSU as a resident assistant and worked her way up to residence director. She later became a judicial affairs coordinator and then assistant dean/director of residence life and housing. She most recently served as associate vice president of student affairs and dean of students.

She holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management and a bachelor’s degree in English from Worcester State.
