Aparna Mahadev (Computer Science) participated in Women in Engineering and Computing Career Day 2013 at UMass Amherst on March 4.
She conducted a workshop for high school students interested in STEM education that included hands-on-activities on computing concepts, algorithms, and data representation.
About 50 young women from high schools in Western Massachusetts attended this workshop.
