After a suggestion from Cindy Donahue (Nursing), eight junior nursing students (including the class officers) grew their hair starting last April to donate to Pantene Beautiful lengths. They are Rachel Wormann, Lindsey Glass, Margaux Brosnahan, Mairead Coleman, Colette Goudreau, Lindsay Wilson, Krystal Calcano, and Kathryn Christo.
They raised over $700 and donated several inches of hair to the cause.
Pantene Beautiful Lengths encourages women and men to grow, cut, and donate their hair to make real hair wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments. The following students are to be commended for their dedication to the cause.
