By: Worcester State University News

Seven faculty and staff members were recognized for “Extraordinary Dedication” at the employee Opening Day event September 2. From a pool of about 30 nominations, two were chosen from each collective bargaining unit (Non-Unit Professionals are considered with administrators), and one was chosen as the first annual “Campus Collaborator” — an award that was established this year to reflect the campus’s strategic emphasis on cross-department and cross-divisional collaboration. All received an engraved clock and were congratulated by the Vice Presidents of their areas. Winners were chosen by a committee made up of last year’s awardees.

Sue Fan Foo, Professor, Education Department
Joseph Quattrucci, Assistant Professor, Chemistry Department

Maribeth Wrobel, Associate Director in the Registrar’s Office
Jeffrey Lebrun, Staff Assistant in University Technology Services

Staff, AFSCME:
