We are a little over a month away from the Worcester State Foundation Golf Tournament, and faculty and staff are invited to show their support. This year’s tournament will be on June 6 at Kettle Brook Golf Club Course in Paxton and at Wachusett Country Club in West Boylston.
When you play, all proceeds go to student scholarships. As in previous years, we expect to fill both courses and the goal is to raise $125,000 to support student scholarships. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with 10 a..m. shotgun start. A cocktail reception and dinner immediately follows at each course. You register by visiting worcester.edu/golf
If golfing is not for you, faculty and staff can still show support by becoming a sponsor or donating a prize. Here are some different ways to be involved:
- Company sponsor: With 12 sponsorship levels, companies also donate items to be included in golfer bags and gain marketing exposure on social media and at the event with more than 200 golfers.
- Donate raffle and silent auction items such as gift cards and branded merchandise
- Donate tickets: season tickets, theater shows, a round of golf at a country club or time at a vacation rental home
Every donation is an investment in the education of our students. If you have any questions, please contact Jodi Briggs-Pickett at 508-929-8786 or jbriggspickett@worcester.edu. View the full tournament brochure HERE!
