Siniossoglou’s Artist’s Book Selected for Paris Competition

Amaryllis Siniossoglou (Visual and Performing Arts) has been selected to participate with her one-of-a-kind artist’s book at the International Contemporary Creative Book Binding competition Paris Relie – Le Paris Des Relieurs Contemporains organized by the Association Internationale de la Reliure d’Art- France.

The exhibition includes 162 original books from artists from 11 countries, and  will take place at the Paris City Hall/ Mairie de Paris 6eme, from Dec. 20, 2012 to Jan. 9, 2013.

She also was accepted to exhibit one of her engravings at the 27th juried exhibition No Big Heads, a national juried self-portrait competition of limited size  at the University of Alaska Anchorage Student Union Gallery, which opened in late October. The show was juried by David Kassan, a realist portrait artist from Brooklyn, New York.
