David St. Martin (University Police) was the recipient of the 2013 Women’s Diver’s Hall of Fame grant to assist the disabled to dive.

Over the past several months through the organization, Scuba Made Easy of Jamestown, RI, St. Martin has taken scuba diving lessons.  After pool training and several open ocean dives, he has received his NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver certification.

Besides scuba diving, he has had the opportunity to participate in sports such as kayaking, sailing, and water skiing with the assistance of several groups in New England that assist the disabled in the participation of outdoor activities.
