Worcester State Theatre is proud to announce the Irene Ryan Audition Scholarship nominees from the recent production of The Good Person of Setzuan, Tasha Matthews and Trang Le. They will attend the Region 1 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF), along with Adia Vellacio and John Karwaski, nominated from last spring’s Boy Gets Girl.
The KCACTF respondent to The Good Person of Setzuan also put forward the production’s stage manager, Sharon Garceau, for her exemplary work.
The Region 1 KCACTF festival is held during the last week of January and includes workshops, discussions, and the opportunity for students to have their work discussed by experts in all the disciplines of the theatre, including acting, directing, design, stage management, playwrighting, dramaturgy, and dramatic criticism.
