University introduces micro-credentials in high demand fields

Worcester State University is expanding the university’s continuing education offerings by introducing a comprehensive range of micro-credentials starting this summer. The university is partnering with Focus EduSolutions, a leading provider of industry-focused educational solutions, for the new programs. 

These new programs are designed to equip professionals and learners with specialized skills in high-demand fields, enabling them to enhance their careers and stay ahead in an ever-evolving job market. The newly introduced micro-credentials cover a diverse range of industries, ensuring that learners can gain expertise in areas with high growth potential. “As a public institution, it is our mission to offer life-long learning opportunities to all residents of Massachusetts, and offering micro-credentials is a great way to do that,”   said Dr. Bobbi Kyle, associate vice president for Continuing Education. “Our robust Center for Business and Industry looks forward to continuing to support the needs of our students, local industry and businesses throughout Massachusetts.”

Each micro-credential program is designed by industry experts and academic faculty, ensuring that learners receive top-quality education and practical skills.
