Catherine Wilcox-Titus (Visual and Performing Arts) has had two photographs selected for an upcoming exhibition, “Still Life: The Ordinary Made Extraordinary” at Photo Place in Middlebury, Vt.

Uneasy Bed was chosen for the cover of the catalog for the exhibition and will be exhibited in the main gallery. Hokusai’s Wave is part of the online exhibition gallery.

Juror Kate Breakey chose 35 works for the gallery and an additional 40 works for the online gallery. Breakey, an internationally exhibited photographer, said she was looking for work with a sense of magic and spontaneity.

These photographs were made over a period of months as Wilcox-Titus explored the properties of natural light in the late winter.

The exhibition is on view from January 2-27.
