World Languages Team Presents at Regional Conference

Antonio Guijarro-Donadiós (World Languages) and graduate students Jenny Lizardo and Adriana Lugo-Zayas recently presented on a panel titled “Time and Space” at the conference for the Connecticut Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.

The conference, entitled “Puerto Rico: Aquí y allí, ayer, mañana y siempre,” was held at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn.

The focus of their presentations were aspects of time, space, and identity in plays by the Puerto Rican playwriter René Marqués in relation to the concept of “nation.”
