Charles Fox (Psychology) has been named editor-in-chief of the Journal of Public Health Issues and Practices, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing scientific research across topics in public health.
According to its website, “The aim of the journal is to investigate all aspects of health to maintain and improve the health of communities and populations and to promote and sustain healthier populations around the world.”
Fox has received several awards, including the J. Warren Perry Distinguished Author Award by the Journal of Allied Health in 2008, Kansas Health Ethics Organizational Award of Honor in 2007, the Medical Book Publishers Association Honorable Mention for Best New Book in 1993, and the VAMC Outstanding Merit Citation in 1992.
He wrote a book titled “Understanding Low Vision Rehabilitation: Implications for Occupational Therapy.” The first edition was published in 1996 and the second edition in 1997.
