Steffany Williamson, M.S. ’13, and Peter Bradley (Biology) attended the Society for In Vitro Biology Annual Meeting at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence in June.
Results from two master’s theses for the M.S. in Biotechnology program were summarized in an abstract published in the symposium volume. Williamson and Abedin Koshi, M.S. ’11, were our two recent graduates.
They co-authored the paper, “Biocompatability testing using VERO cells cultured on some plastics and clay nanocomposites,” for the journal In Vitro Cellular & Developmental Biology – Animal with faculty at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, who collaborated with Bradley on this project.
