Delaney and Hood-DeGrenier Present at Shared Scholarship Session

Aimee Delaney (Criminal Justice) and Jennifer Hood-DeGrenier (Biology) presented their latest research at the April 10 session of Worcester State University Center for Teaching and Learning’s Shared Scholarship Series.

Delaney gave a talk titled “Analyzing Trends in Youth Risk Behaviors,” during which she discussed the various quantitative methodologies used in criminal justice research to gain an understanding of substance consumption among high school and middle school students.

Hood-DeGrenier’s talk, titled “Investigating the Phosphoproteome of Budding Yeast,” focused on the techniques used to screen yeast proteins for changes in a phosphorylation following the introduction of gene encoding a mutant protein and her findings from this screen.
