Visual and Performing Arts adjunct faculty member Steve Gagliastro, who recently joined Worcester State as a voice instructor, recently qualified for the final round of the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Sound of Winning” jingle contest. The organization announced that Gagliastro’s 30-second jingle earned second place.

Gagliastro, who has appeared in theatre tours, film, and on TV networks including HBO, Showtime, and TBS, joins VPA’s faculty of musicians offering Worcester State University students lessons in guitar, piano, brass, strings, voice, winds, percussion, and more, with remote options and course credit available. Students may also join peers in music through ensemble participation, with production support that creatively adapts to these times. Contact VPAmusic@worcester.edu for more information.
