Hy Ginsberg (Mathematics) is a co-author of an article titled “Heilbronn Characters” that will appear in the July issue of the Bulletin of the American Mathematical Society.
The article is a comprehensive survey of more than 40 years of research on these objects, culminating with a description of Ginsberg’s recent classification of so-called “unfaithful minimal” Heilbronn characters.
His co-writers were Richard Foote from University of Vermont and Kumar Murty from University of Toronto.
