The women’s basketball team hosted the annual Math Madness game this afternoon in the Wellness Center.

More than 800 students from the May St. School, Chandler Magnet, Tatnuck Magnet, Flagg St. School, and Imago School participated.  All students were given grade-appropriate math packets to fill out with question such as:

  • If Callie Korbey (#21) shoots 8 shots and misses 2, what fraction of her shots were successful?
  • A backboard is 72 inches long by 36 inches high. What is the area?

Perhaps due in part to the enthusiastic cheering of their fans, the Lancers beat the Nichols College Bison 61-38.
