Thomas Conroy (Urban Studies) was elected to the Preservation Worcester Board of Directors at their annual meeting on Wednesday, May 28.
Preservation Worcester is dedicated to the preservation of buildings, sites, and neighborhoods which represent the culture, history, and architecture of Worcester. Its award-winning work with neighborhood groups, developers, city departments, schools, and state and local historical commissions affords many opportunities for WSU students and alumni to become involved in public history, urban design, economic development, and neighborhood preservation endeavors.
Conroy also serves as a member of the Worcester Arts Council.
