The Worcester State Jazz Ensemble will deliver its semiannual concert at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in Sullivan Auditorium. Later this week, on Thursday,  May 2, The Good Time Vocal Band will be performing in The Blue Lounge on campus at 1:30 p.m. The concert is a celebration of pop favorites from the ’50s to the ’90s. Both of these musical ensembles are directed by Worcester State University Professor Steve Gagliastro.

On Monday, May 6, the Spring Mosaic of Music will be in Fuller Theater at 7:00 p.m. The Mosaic features student musicians performing their work from instrumental and vocal lessons taught by Worcester State University music faculty.

All Worcester State students have the opportunity to take music lessons for course credit with practice space available. In addition to joining Worcester State Jazz Ensemble or The Good Time Vocal Band, students may become part of ensembles in brass, guitar, string, piano, and wind.
