The baseball team GPA was above the 3.0 mark in 2020-2021 for the second straight year, the WSU Athletics Department has announced.
Baseball Coach Dirk Baker says that, as the new school year approaches, the team will not rest on its achievements, but will continue to strive for improvement athletically and academically as well.
“To achieve this team GPA two years in a row is truly a testament to our student-athletes.” Baker says. “The team always tries to work as hard in the classroom as they do on the baseball field. It’s an honor to coach such a tremendous group of student-athletes.”
