Family, friends and colleagues of Don and Elaine Vescio gathered to dedicate the new Tyrus, Dante and Daniel Memorial Lounge on the second floor of Wasylean Hall Thursday, April 12.
The University is naming the lounge in honor of Don and Elaine’s gift and in memory of their infant triplets, who died shortly after they were born. (April 8th would have been the triplets’ seventh birthday.)
“This is an meaningful gift on the part of the Vescio family,” President Barry Maloney said. “This gift speaks volumes about the resilience and generosity of this remarkable family. In addition, we all know that Don has demonstrated great commitment to the success of all of our students to his work at the university.”
