Zahler Recognized for Work on ‘Come Back, Little Sheba’

Adam Zahler (Visual and Performing Arts) was among those whose outstanding work on Come Back, Little Sheba garnered the following Independent Reviewers of New England Awards: Best Actress (Adrianne Krstansky), Best Director (David Cromer), and Best Play in the large theatre category. The awards were presented at a ceremony on April 11 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Brookline, Mass.

Come Back, Little Sheba also had been nominated for:

Best Ensemble
Best Set Design
Best Lighting Design
Best Sound Design
Best Supporting Actress – Marie Polizzano
Best Supporting Actor – Michael Knowlton
Best Actor – Derek Hasenstab

In addition, Come Back, Little Sheba recently received several Elliot Norton Award nominations. The show earned nominations in the large theater category for Outstanding Production, Outstanding Design, Outstanding Actor, Outstanding Actress, Outstanding Director, and Outstanding Ensemble. Winners will be announced at the 34th annual Elliot Norton Awards ceremony at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre in Boston on May 23.
